Very funny because last night at the FACDL board meeting, Milt used words that had to be looked up. It got a few laughs.
By the way, he sat right next to Mike C and they had no problems with each other.
most people who comment on this blog do so with reason and with respect for their fellow man. then there are some of you who just know how to throw insults. In all my time reading this blog, I have never seen Rump insult anyone, just state his point of view. It is really sad that as attorneys some of you just can't express yourself without the low blow insults.
9:27 Am- I am fairly certain I have insulted some Judges along the way.
I know I've tried.
Many seem to have forgotten The Captain's Golden Rule, announced 12/10/09:
ReplyDelete"... if you have nothing nice to say about someone then keep your mouth shut".
But then, could it be this rule only applies when someone writes something The Captain doesn't like about someone The Captain likes?
Rumpole! I hereby demand you surrender your poisoned, purloined pen and cease and desist your pompous pontificating. Pronto.
ReplyDeleteRemember: Bonum commune hominis
And Braccae tuae aperiuntur
and finally
Bis vincit qui se vincit in victori
Kindly act accordingly!
The One and only...

Who's Lourdes Simon?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Judge Simon!
ReplyDeleteI was fortunate enough to have known Lourdes for more than 10 years and very lucky to have been able to call her my friend.
During that time, I tried quite a few cases with her including some with very serious and complex issues. One of the last hearings I did with Lourdes before I left the PD's Office involved a long and involved competency hearing on a client charged with first degree murder. The case included more than 12 doctors who traveled to testify from all over the state and a severely disturbed client. I watched as Lourdes handled it all with the utmost professionalism, preparedness, and grace. I was impressed with her abilities as much then as I am now. I am sure that her judicial demeanor will be just as wonderful. Just as I'm sure she will issue her rulings with as much thought and sense of fairness as she does in every other aspect of her life.
I'm very proud of you Lourdes!

ReplyDeletei say fake milt is in reality real milt!

Actually not. I wrote the fake Milt. I'm not the real Milt. And This is the second comment for me today.
ReplyDeleteGood lord,
ReplyDeleteWith all the Uncle Milty quotes the past few days, where the hell are the Word Of The Day Guyz when you need them?
5:45.
ReplyDeleteI like you and have nothing but good things to say about you.
Cap Out ....
Milt and Catalano are like the wolf and the sheep dog on Looney Tunes...they smack each other around during business hours, but when they clock out it's like nothing ever happened.
ReplyDeleteFake Milton is none other then real Milton. Real Milton and Fake Milton are indeed and doubtlessly looney tunes, not in a good way either.
ReplyDeleteSorry for off topic, but 2012 is close, is this really matter?
