YOUR NATIONAL CHAMPION

FLORIDA GATORS

TIM TEBOW MAY GET THE PRESS, BUT YOUR GATOR DEFENSE WON THE GAME, SHUTTING DOWN THE BOOMER SOONER OFFENSE.

BROTHER CAN YOU SPARE A GRAND?

By the time you read this, (and we are in court) the latest figures for national unemployment will be out, and they will be bad.  500,000 or more jobs will have been lost in this recession.

UPDATE: We're back from court (the judge was late taking the bench) and the numbers are out: The NY Times reports here that the economy lost 2.6 million jobs in 2008, 524,000 in December alone.  The unemployment rate is 7.2%, the highest in 16 years. 11 million americans are out of work.

As we labour through our annual January blues (holidays over, Judges wanting to try cases, clients upset, 51 weeks to go, etc.,)  if you are cashing a pay cheque today, be grateful. We are.

Football playoffs this weekend, and as always we will have your winners for you.

  4. TO:

Stan (Blake), Kevin (Emas), Sam (Slom), Rick (Freedman), and the rest of Gator Nation:

    97 + 702 = 14

Enjoy the moment, it was a great win.

By my count, that's UF's fourth national championship in the past three years (BBall & FBall).

Got it. 97 touchdowns and 702 points on the year and all the Sooners could muster was 14 points against our defense.

It was a great tail-GATOR at E-25 (as always). Judge Blake and Judge Emas were part of about 100 at our tailgator.

Unbelieveable game to attend and an extra treat was meeting Percy Harvin at 2:30 am at the team hotel where my son got to take a photo with him.

    GO GATORS!
