NFL WEEK NINE

Week nine sees us up a 1034 Farinas. Think about that. If you followed our advice dollar for dollar, you'd be up 1034. If you played ten dollars for every unit we wager, you'd be up $10,340.00. And don't even think about the dough you'd be rolling in if you played a C Note for every unit. You could take off the rest of the year and get that lodge in Aspen for January.

Oh my goodness, the Monday Night match up is Buffalo at Cleveland. We've been waiting for this one for years. (Yawn). OK. On to the real games that mean something.

The Fins are 10.5 favorites!! Last week we got lured into the hysteria and good feelings surrounding the 9 point favorites the Fins were over a woeful Seattle team. They barely won that game and we lost 50, so we're staying away from this one as well. The Fins should win, but they play conservatively, so who knows?

The Eagles travel to Cincinnati to play the woeful (there's that word again) Bengals. The Bengals are 9 point dogs at home. But lets look deeper. The Eagles know that the Cowpokes are playing the Redskins, and one of them has to lose. The Giants are playing the surprising Ravens, they of the best defense in the NFL.  All of this translates into o..p..p..o..r..t..u..n..i..t..y.. for the Eagles. And opportunity doesn't come knocking all that often during an NFL season. So we look for the Eagles to win and to pour it on. Eagles -9 for 150.

Staying in the NFC, the Cowpokes go to DC to play the Skins. the game is even, meaning you can take the Skins and not give any points. This game could go either way. With the return of Poke QB Romo, the play here is the over 43. +150.

The Colts go to Texas, soon to be home for the 43 President of the United States, to play the Texans. The over line is 50, and that is way too high with the Texans starting Miami reject Sage Rosenfels at QB .  Under 50 for 150.

The Bears play the Pack in Green Bay. The Pack played the Titans plenty tough last week, and lost a shootout to Minnesota the week before. They don't lose 3 in a row. Green Bay -3.5 + 100.

It's supposed to be cool for the Sunday game. See you there with a sweater on.

  2. For a Richard E Gerstein Justice Building Blog, I sure have been seeing a lot of Palin bashing ala MSNBC going on here.....Not even a redaction to those stories regarding Palin's infighting and Africa misplacmenet now coming out as blantant lies.

  5. The Palin Africa story has not been shown to be a "blatant lie," much les the stories of political infighting. You are confusing s story about a fake blogger coming forward to claim credit for the Africa story, with the story being fake. All that was fake was the fake blogger's claim of credit for leaking the story. The real leaker remains anonymous.

  6. Does anyone know someone at the JAC with a brain I can speak with. When I call the help desk the nitwits that answer are dumber than a pile of dung. If anyone has a contact at the JAC with at least three brain cells please let me know his/her name.

    thanks

  7. Has anyone else received an entirely-too-long-and-most-unwelcome e-mail from Jack Thompson railing about his disbarment?

  8. According to published reports, $100 million was wagered on the Steelers/Chargers game--$64 million on the Steelers to cover and $36 million on the Chargers to beat the 4/5 point spread. The erroneous call at the end of the day saved somebody a lot of money. Some very strange things have been happening right at the end of NFL games when nothing but point spreads are at stake.

  9. Jack has in fact sent a mass email based upon the email addresses known to The Bar or published in the Bar Journal Directory.

DO NOT RESPOND especially if it is unfavorable. Do not get in his cross-hairs or have him believe you are his friend.

In the email he promises to leave you alone if you do not respond. If he continues to make these mailings after making that promise, someone(s) is going to file for injunctive relief and turn him off.

  10. Jack's e-mail was one of what will probably be several "last gasps" to try to make something of his disbarment. I agree with Batman--just ignore him, don't respond to him. He will probably(hopefully) fade into obscurity. Otherwise, he will end up being prosecuted for unlicensed practice of law. And if he gets sent to prison, I'm sure his views on homosexuality would change.

  11. Do not open an email called "amendmentone" the florida bar may have you in the crosshairs. this is sent by none other than "wacky Jacky". once you reply he threatens to send you to the florida bar. this guy is a real nut case. thankfully he is disbarred and can not file pleadings. I am wondering, if he sued for slander/defamation can he defend himself prose, or does he need a lawyer to represent him?
