We like the Texans at home -3 and the under 45 against our Dolphins. Sorry Fins, it's strictly business. Texans -3 +100 and under 45 +100. In fact, lets do an "IF" bet. IF Texans -3 (100) THEN under 45. So, if the Texans win by more than three then our 200 gets rolled on to the under. We can only lose 120 (110 if the Texans don't cover or our 200 on the under bet, of which we won 100 and the 20 unit vig.) We can, and hopefully will, win 400.
The Chargers at home -4.5 against the Patsies. Look for San Diego to rebound nicely +100.
Giants at Cleveland and Eagles at San Fran each have an over/under line of 43 and we like the over in each 50 units each game.
Suicide Pool.
Rumpole Redskins. Duh.

Rick Freedman Redskins.
MCCAIN CAMPAIGN MELTDOWN? If you read this BBC article it's almost as if McCain's campaign has melted down. Congressman John Lewis, a leader of the Civil Rights movement from the 1960's cautioned McCain against inciting racial hatred. McCain (who has recently said Congressman Lewis was one of the men he admired most) responded by saying the accusation was "beyond the pale." McCain finds himself at rallies trying to calm crowds inflamed by his VP pick who are screaming that Obama is a terrorist and an Arab (as if being an Arab was a bad thing.) All in all the BBC article gives the appearance of a campaign responding to fires, not controlling events. (BTW. We would not at all be surprised to see that the Obama campaign was behind Lewis's statement and that it may have been long planned. Politics is a rough sport.) It's sad to see this American hero undone by the right wing of his party, especially since he was one of the true Republicans that used to shun their fascist tactics.
Make sure you read yesterday's post.
When asked on Friday if he had the stomach to enter the stock market, a noted financial money manager said this on Fox Financial: "Its not the size of the shumie in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the shumie. You bet I'm a buyer right now, and you should be too."
ReplyDeleteIt never ends.
It occurs to me that if you converted Rumpole's units to thousand dollar bets, you would be up right now three quarters of a million dollars.
ReplyDeleteI disagree. I think it is dependent on the size of the shumie in the fight. We are facing an international market meltdown. Its a large shumie and it may just overwhelm everything in its path despite the size of the fight in the shumie.
ReplyDeleteIs there anyone left (other than the posters) who find the Shumie jokes remotely amusing? I highly doubt it. I don't know why you ocntinue to post them.
ReplyDeleteJealous we're all not talking bout you?
ReplyDeleteCAN ANYONE CONFIRM THE ACTIONS BY PETER THE CRAZY ADRIEN ON FRIDAY? THROWING 2 MEN IN JAIL UNTIL TUESDAY WHO ARE WITNESSES IN CASES, INCLUDING ONE WHO TRAVELED FROM NORTH FLORIDA TO APPEAR IN COURT VOLUNTARILY?
ReplyDeleteIT JUST MIGHT BE JQC TIME FOR THIS UNSPEAKABLY BAD JUDGE.
The real story is that war has broken out again between the Moldovan crew and the Gavaria gang. There was a scuffle between runners at TGK and the lieutenants couldn't settle it and the Capo regimes had to be called in. Mendy is pissed.
ReplyDeleteHere's the thing Rump: if you look around the table and you don't know who the fish is, it's you.
ReplyDeleteLets do a poll:
ReplyDeleteJustice Building Blog:
[] Ban Shumie
[] Keep Shumie
[] Impeach Adrien
ban shumie
ReplyDeletewe're going to have to have a meetin (as in - meet-in) to discuss whos running against Adrien
ReplyDeleteI vote to ban shumie. It is such stupid and childish phenomenon. But then again, so is most of this blog. (it's still occasionall entertaining to read though)
ReplyDeleteI'm not one to say adrien is a good judge, but the witnesses had repeatedly failed to appear for depo despite having rules issued against them... what else was he to do with them? if you want to bitch about a bad judge at least know the facts because otherwise you yourself look like an igorant jerk.
Rumpole, I need to vote but for who?
ReplyDeleteObama
or
McCain
Ileana Ros-Lehtinen
or
Annette Taddeo
Lincoln Diaz-Balart
or
Raul L. Martinez
Mario Diaz-Balart
or
Joe Garcia
Harvey Ruvin
or
Darrin E. McGillis
congrats to Surph!
ReplyDeleteThe shumie postings are sooooo very boring and tedious. If this blog wants to maintain any level of credibility, it will get rid of them. Makes you not even want to turn to the comments section.
ReplyDeleteya with the shumie jokes very boring.
ReplyDeleteanyone know what the breakdown will be this year among cuban voters electorally? will it be the same old nonsense whoever growls the loudest about cuba gets the vote or might this year be different?
is court open monday?
ReplyDeleteMiami New Times has this piece on Matthew Pinzur who recently got tapped as George Burgess "Bitch".
ReplyDeleteWhat an unethical piece of shit. He was covering the August 26, elections and wrote some rather biased stories.

ReplyDelete"You want straight action- You call me. You want parlays and teasers, I'll call you."
Don't fall for it Rump. Teasers, parlays and "if" bets are all sucker bets. Don't ruin that stellar record of yours by going off script. It's like any bet in the middle of the craps table.
3:55, the congressional races are easy - if all you care about is the embargo, vote for the diaz balart mob and ileana (eeeee-liana)
ReplyDeleteIf you care about anything else like anything going on in Miami, vote for their opponents
