HERALD SCOOPED

The facts is dear Readers, our wonderful El Capitan scooped the Herald on Friday with the news of the judicial elections.

The Captain had it here first, and unlike the on-line articles in the Herald's Breaking News Section, the Captain had it right.

Great Job Captain.

  2. Speaking of songs, here's the scene:

A small bar in Homestead. A bunch of union guys in the local Pipefitters 352 sitting around drinking some beers.

Suddenly an advance black SUV pulls up and some important looking men in suits stroll into the bar. A few minutes later, our candidate Migna come charging into the bar, and these tough union guys start singing

    Miami Loves Migna
    and Migna Loves Miami

    Manny quit while's there's time

because oh Manny can't you see, she'll be on the bench on January 9?

  3. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
A CERTIFIED CORRECT COPY OF THIS HISTORIC EMAIL, SENT EARLIER IN THE WEEK TO US SUPREME COURT JUDGE ANTONIN SCALIA

From: Fake Jake Thompson, Esq., and gadfly
    Gadfly@comcast.com

To: US Supreme Court Judge Antonin Scalia

    Dear Nino:

I caught your appearance last week on 60 Minutes. Did you know I was on 60 Minutes too? Yup. I'm just as famous and as important as you. Welcome to the 60 Minutes Club. I will buy you an apple juice on the rocks when I see you at the club.

Anyway, Nino, it occurs to me that your "original intent" philospohy merges quite well with my anti-video game campaign.

The Framers clearly were not video game players. I cannot find one refernce to "video-games" in the federalist papers, and lord knows I have looked. There is this small footnote in a letter Benjamin Franklin sent while in France to John Adams: "...and the Count and Countess were quite gracious hosts, although their teenage son spent most of his time in his room playing "horse thief II".

That's it Nino. Nothing more. It cannot be more clear to me that absent any mention in the Constitution, that video games are not convered by the constitution. They are illegal mutatis mutandis.(as I have said on 60 Minutes. Did I mention I have been headlined on 60 Minutes? There is some talk of me replacing Mike Wallace.)

So Justice Scalia, are you ready to rumble? This should be fun. Roll up the sleeves of those robes and get to work with me on banning video games.

Thomas Jefferson would be proud of both of us.

Your pal, your fellow 60 Minutes superstar, and your co-original intent theorist.

Fake Jake Thompson, Gadlfly, and Esq., (for now.)

  5. The song is old and candidly, rather boring.Perhaps the candidate,Migna Sanchez Llorens should concentrate on campaigning and not writing lyrics. The opposition is qualified, especially qualified to run against Ms.Llorens.Intelligence they are equal.Personality Manny is superior.Courtesy,Manny is superior.Honesty,Manny is superior.Ask others including her co-workers at the P.D.'soffice,prosecutors,and most of all the judges whom she has appeared before.
Perhaps the Tauler plan did not pan out as expected.

  6. I will not stir the pot. Alright I will. At www.harveyruvin.com can anyone identify the frame art behind Ruvin that say "we the people".

That frame art if you look close is right outside Ruvin's office at the old Court house 73 Flagler. So what you say. Doing Campaign work on court property is a no no.

Juan D'Arce had that problem of campaign work while on the tax payers dime. What's good for the goose is good for the .... oh whatever.

  8. Migna sucks. Sorry, Manny will be in.

Migna can be a Judge in Puerto Rico though! I hear they want her back!

  9. With the economy so bad, why is Farina uncontested?

The Court is going to hell for sure.

  10. Would someone please tell Jackie that Judge Tunis was re-elected when she got no opposition on Friday's deadline for qualifying.

Jackie is asking the elections commission to take her name off the November ballot. Moron election is over go get a life.

  11. Manny Segarra would be the WORST judge of all time. The guy is not very bright and has a horrible inability to evaluate cases. Ask anyone who worked with Manny.

    Do NOT support Manny.

  12. I'm no Migna fan, but Migna's big toe is smarter than Manny. Manny is the five time recipient of the SAO's dumbest ASA award.

  13. Manny,

Don’t complement yourself on the blog, especially repeatedly.

Stop using Juan's name regarding any allegation of impropriety. If Juan was guilty of something, it was of not bending over as so many do when pushed. He has advised me and is one of the brightest political minds out there. It is my understanding that his record is better than all the other consultants. Also, if he was so worthless, why did he matter? Exactly. We know how so many play the political game in Miami. The Mafia way.

Anyhow, here is a list of people who campaign on tax payers dime:

    Bennett Brummer
    Joe Farina
    Katherine Rundle
    Harvey Ruvin
    etc.

I highly recommend for anyone still running to hire Juan. If you have any questions, talk to any of the people he made Judge with little cash and lots of creative work. I am one of them and I love him as well as his professionalism. Bless you Juan.

  17. Migna equals Hector Lombada.

    Because of this:

    Manny equals my vote.

    Enough said.

    Pass it on.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Gosh. I hate Hector Lombada.

What does he think? This guy is a jerk. Migna, you lost my vote based on this poor choice.

Manny, where may I reach you to get a sign and bumper sticker?

  19. Hector also supports Velis, but he didn't last time.

    hmmmmmmmmm.

    ReplyDelete
  20. What about Hector? Is he doing his thing again?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Velis and Hector? That sounds horrible. Then again, Velis has been at it for 6 years. It would be wise for her to buy Hector so he stops messing around with her race.
