Both of todays games are like low hanging fruit on a tree.
Take both home teams and give the points. Simple as that.
Take the Indy/Charger over 47.
2-0 yesterday on lines. Green Bay after a shaky start was the pick of the weekend. The Cheaters couldn't cover so our Jax pick paid off. One loss on the under in NE if you ignored our warnings that it was a weak pick.
No weak picks today.
Colts -8 and Dallas -7.5 are the way to go.
Over in the Colts game, stay away from the total in the Dallas game.
And don't forget to scroll back and read our post from last night about the Federal gag order. Good stuff.
See You Tomorrow, flush with flow.
Rump my man. "Flush with the flow."
ReplyDeleteMy brotha from another mother homie.
I like the lingo.
Hmmm....
ReplyDeleteIndy at home...give points.
Now, NY/Dalls is a problem. My gut agrees with you.....but I will go with NY and the points....YIKES!
For the rest of the weekend , we regret to inform you that the role of fake peckins will be played by fake matters.
ReplyDeletePlease enjoy the show.
The Giants are a fools bet. Like the Seahawks yesterday. Don't get wrapped up in their win last week. Look how Dallas destroyed them twice this year.
ReplyDeleteI’VE had the roasted chicken at Barbuto when snow was blowing against the restaurant’s glass walls, and I’ve had it when summer sun streamed through. I’ve had it before 6:30 p.m., when the restaurant was just stirring, and after 10:30, when it was at full tilt.
ReplyDeleteI’ve had the roasted chicken when it came with the salsa verde, which leans hard on parsley and basil, and I’ve had it with a mixture of lemon and juices from the roasting pan, which is how Barbuto serves it around this time of year.
I’ve had it after a salad, when I was ravenous, and after spaghetti carbonara, when I wasn’t.
None of this made any difference. I’ve devoured it every time, because it’s always been terrific: crunchy, meaty, tender, glossed with oil.
Over the four years since Barbuto opened in a former car garage with concrete floors on the western fringes of the West Village, this restaurant has developed a track record with roasted chicken so impressive that it’s arguably cause for scientific study. It’s certainly cause for a review.
Several of you have inquired as to the fee structure that Private Court Appointed Counsel (PCAC) would be entitled to in light of the most recent rulings of Judge Davey.
ReplyDeleteThe Writ Quo Warranto filed by FACDL challenged only the legislative authority for appointment of the Regional Counsel in each of the five districts. While this was part of the legislation passed last spring in SB 1088, the bill was divided into 34 separate sections. As with many bills, this one provided, in Section 33, that "if any provision of this act or its application to any person or circumstance is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect other provisions or applications of the act which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this act are severable."
The bill had as a separate act, Section 11, which read in part, "27.5304 Private court-appointed counsel; compensation.--(1) Private court-appointed counsel shall be compensated by the Justice Administrative Commission as provided in an amount not to exceed the fee limits established in this section and the General Appropriations Act."
The General Appropriations Act (GAA) is the place where you find the actual language and flat fee amounts for payment on criminal cases.
It would appear then that the rulings of Judge Davey would have no affect on the new fee structures that began on July 1, 2007. Therefore, should Judge Davey's latest Order stand, and the Clerk begins to appoint private attorneys from the Registry beginning on Tuesday, January 22, 2008, then you can expect to be paid pursuant to the flat fee structure that is laid out in the GAA effective July 1, 2007.
If there are any changes or updates, we will keep you informed.

Beware - do not cross the Judges of the REG.
Appeal me you say? On a order we both know is error! Not to worry I shall vacate this order and increase the bond of your client from $20-K to One Million Dollars. Counsel that is "Check Mate".
Deep in the halls of the Third District Court of Appeal the Judges ponder:
Cope: We have never granted a petition like this. We would look weak on crime?
Ramirez: I say we PCA the writ its like 20 pages long who has the time to read this stuff? I have a dentist appointment in an hour.
Souter: I'm new here - but we have an obligation to read this petition!
(Cope whispers to Ramirez) I think we have a trouble maker on the Court.
Cope: Judge Souter you are correct lets read the petition.
(1 hr later afer reading the petition)
Ramirez: Wow! So that’s what a Writ looks like.
Cope: Never had to read the petitions before. The Court in the past just enters a PCA - kinda helps us to conclude cases quickly. Plus the bigwig law firms need our time to read the appeals that matter.
Souter: We should reverse and remand for the trial court to reinstate the original bond.
Ramirez: Sounds good to me.
Cope: I concur. Lets eat at TGI the ribs are the best.
Absolute fact...Brian Tannebaum is both Rumpole and Captain.
ReplyDeleteAnd his picks sucked this week.
Nice picks Rump.......

ReplyDeletei thought you said that the wheel was over...
Didn't see the Chargers win coming, but I saw the Giants.
ReplyDeleteRomo proved what I've been saying all year. He's good, not great. Without TO (and TO was not himself today), he's not much better than average. Good riddance.
Thanks for the picks, Rumpy -- your 'lead pipe locks' apparently couldn't win, let alone cover. Don't forget the 10 percent juice too.
ReplyDeleteHey Tony Romo, now you have time to go to disney. I hope a little sex with a bimbo was worth pissing off an entire city and 50 teammates. Is the head that good?
