UPDATE: WEDNESDAY. uhhhhhgggghh. No more Tequila. Ever. Going back to sleep.
HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO
Unfortunately this Cinco De Mayo is turning out like most other Cinco De Mayos, meaning we might not make court tomorrow. Ole!
When you see something that is not right, not fair, find a way to get in the way and cause trouble. Congressman John Lewis

I know its not your beat, but I think you have an obligation to raise hell about the Liberty City 6case. It seems that the Judge has decided to replace a jury member rather than have another hung jury. Can anyone say "fixed."
Anyone working for the State earning more than $45000,except those in the University system, got a 2% paycut. Judges lost about 3000.00 on top of a cut in medical benefits from the county last January.
According to the Civil blog it's
CINCO DE SHUMIE
and there's free Tequila for anyone and everyone.
But where is the Tequila?
Former Justice Cantero in the Reg Bldg? What's up with that?
Hey Rumpy.
Long time since I've been on here. Just dropping a note to say hola on this Cinco De Mayo.
who wants to be a judge anymore with pay cuts and less insurance coverage? at this rate, poor judge jerry klein will probably retire!
make sure future judge jeff swartz that you can financially do this. rick freedman would have to take a $7.48 million pay cut!
Cutting judge's salaraies is bull shit.
Rump,
This blog is very easy to navigate around. Can you offer any help on how the heck you navigate through the Broward blog? I just don't get it!
It's Wednesday!
Just becuase Seraphin has a sign up that he's now taking attorneys on Wednesdays between 8:30 and 9:30 doesn't make him anymore intelligent!
It's a start toward calendar management but until he can listen to what people are saying and not just concentrate on what His next words are going to be, there's still gonna be a problem in his courtroom.
2:55.........way to encourage him to listen. Blast him when he makes changes to try and accomodate people. Brilliant. You must be a hell of a lawyer.

One of the things that made the 2004 revolutionary guard of the Public Defender's office uprise was the length in which it took the old guard to work up a case. The Miami Herald reports today about a 2002 Easter Sunday murder trial being handled the some of the og at the PDO. Six years to work up a murder case is toooooo long but, par for the course.
