Rumpole wonders: Just how did they get our email address?
If we attend, will the State Attorney address the issues that we raised during the “State Attorneys Office Christmas Massacre Post?”
Why is valet parking needed?
Will the State Attorney explain to us how Herb Walker decided to resign out of the blue, and how his resignation had absolutely nothing to do with the sexual harassment complaints made against him?
Will the State Attorney explain to us her policy of firing people who lie about why they were fired? How about her policy of punishing and firing young assistants who assist charities.
In lieu of the above, does she really want Rumpole to attend her party?
We may well solicit funds to allow us to make a donation and attend.
Should Rumpole attend the State Attorney’s fundraiser? And should we trust her valets with our car?
I heard that a lawyer is running for Clerk of Courts against Harvey Rubin, anyone have any idea who it is that is running?

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure, but regardless, it's not a good position for a lawyer.
ReplyDeleteRump, sure KFR isn't perfect, but who's the alternative? Crazy Al Millian, who would replicate Satz' Broward SAO here in Dade? When someone of substance and reason steps forward to run, then maybe others of us will get behind him/her, but that person hasn't stepped forward yet. Bottom line: it could be a whole lot worse than KFR!

I'm sure the invitation was sent to you because you are a former ASA and employee of KFR. Please don't attend--wouldn't want to destroy the complete metamorphosis to the dark side or cease biting the hand that fed you and launched you into a successful career as a defense attorney.

ReplyDeletesuch silliness Rumpole, you really are sounding like quite the yenta. I received one also and my best guess was that it was through the dade democratic party's email list. Plenty of former ASAs I know did not get this.
ReplyDeleteDont fret over valet, in places with tiny streets and little available space, valets are brought in to shuttle people's cars to an available parking area-- not a big mystery.
Kathy really needs to be replaced.
