ReplyDeleteSirhan Sirhan should be released on parole finally after 57 years. He is a man wrongfully convicted after the CIA brainwashed and programmed him to try to kill the candidate RFK.

ReplyDeleteBerrigan was a quasi-terrorist. He broke into a government facility and poured napalm on draft files. He also, along with many others, broke into a GE (that's General Electric for you young people) office and poured blood on government property. To his credit, though, he did a lot of good work with people suffering from the AIDS virus in the '80's. A bit ironic that he portrays himself as living in a 'bad time" which was 1971. Try going to Cuba or the Soviet Union or China at that time and protesting against the government.

Because Florida elects its trial judges, voters already possess the appropriate means of holding judges accountable for poor performance, mismanagement, or improper temperament: they may vote against them or support a qualified challenger when those judges stand for reelection.
What is not appropriate is threatening judges with removal or impeachment, or attempting to intimidate and publicly condemn them through political pressure and grandstanding simply because of disagreement with a particular ruling. Judges who make good-faith decisions based on the law and the facts presented in open court must remain free to exercise their independent judgment without fear of personal or political reprisal.

There’s a better, more erudite way to criticize our praise of Mr Markus than by making a crude anatomical reference. So turn off Fox News and give it a try mate. And btw do you not see our constant mocking of him working above a garage ? It’s not all sunshine and roses between the two best (and I think only ) Miami legal courthouse blogs. Put another way - in terms more familiar to you - get your head out of your ass.
ReplyDeleteBoth parties have their appeal. The Democratic Party is more inclusive. The Republican Party caters to the more privileged. No one is necessarily right or wrong. Even so, the MAGA ideal is a far cry from the founding father's intent. Separate powers. Powers to the people. No kings!

ReplyDeleteI very much support the toppling of all theocratic regimes including the one in Iran. We just have doofuses running a war instead of professionals like George Herbert Walker Bush and his Joint Chiefs and Sec of Defense did in kicking Sadam out of Kuwait. Thats how you run a war. It was done by professional men and women who had trained their whole life for that. Not some Fox News flunky running the DOD who’s a laughing stock moron.
