Here's a rundown on the presidential candidates schedules for the holiday:
Hillary Clinton has a series of campaign stops where she will discuss her newly released proposals for climate change and the economy. She will march in a 4th of July Parade. 

Donald Trump will appear on Fox T.V and call Clinton dirty, tricky, slimy, and a "mushhead". He will also darkly speculate on what Vince Foster knew about Barak Obama's birth-certificate and where Obama was when Foster committed "suicide". 

Gary Johnson will just want someone to please please interview him. 



No court  Monday. Anybody stupid enough to set a trial for Tuesday? Not us, so we won't see you in  court. 


* well, not "all men", just white men.

  2. Please help. I have my new GF's family down for this holiday at my house in the lower keys (thanks big med mal referral fee!!) and her sister is a bit overbearing when it comes to food. I am a traditional chef. I use Worcestershire sauce in my Cesar salad dressing that I make, and dry mustard and seasoned salt in my crab Louis (which I am using the last of last season's tone crab that I froze for this holiday weekend.)

    Ms. Fancy-pants with Kale wants to use veggie mayo, kale, sprouts, seeds, and a host of other vegan, non-gmo-gluten free new age ingredients.

    Who is right here Rumpole. My GF and I both respect you.

    Cookin- tell Ms. Fancy Kale that as a host you have every desire to accommodate the needs of your guests and that you are happy to jot out to Publix or whole foods or whatever they have in the Keys and get her a vegan may kale salad, but that as a chef you have every right to cook your recipes the way you want.

    If that doesn't work....kick the whinny bitch to the curb and buy her a greyhound bus ticket back to Miami.

  7. How come last week the Florida Supreme Court said that Wacky Jackie Schwartz gets to keep her pay while she fights to keep her job when Giselle Pollock didn't get paid while fighting the JQC?

    Jackie has a prior conviction with the JQC.
    Jackie is and has been totally nuts on the bench.
    Jackie is not nice to anyone.
    Jackie has never admitted she has any problem other than being caught over and over.
    Jackie has zero hope of winning her JQC case.

    Giselle had no priors but, did have a DUI.. well Jackie was stopped by the police BEFORE getting her DUI.
    Giselle was reasonable.
    Giselle was nice to people.
    Giselle admitted she had a problem with alcohol.
    Giselle had a chance to win... slight chance.

  9. SO be Dandy got it wrong. The question is whether Ms. Fancy Kale is...well, worth keeping around for the holiday. Is there is pool? Does she swim? How does she ...wear her bikini? All of this matters, as sexist as it is.

    She is the granddaughter of 1952 Miss America Colleen Kay Hutchins and former New York Knick Ernie Vandeweghe, the niece of basketball player Kiki Vandeweghe and the daughter of former olympic swimmer Tauna Vandeweghe.

  13. Fiola Maria is foo foo fancy pants sea food.

    Go eat some real food that men eat. Blue Duck Tavern. Locally sourced- have the Braised Pork Belly with Fermented Butternut squash and maple bourbon glaze. Also, they have about thirty small batch bourbons. Pick one and enjoy. 45 Day dry aged ribeye with bordelaise sauce and roasted garlic with bone marrow. Also the hanger steak or the oven roasted pork chop with red eye gravy. If you want seafood, just get the jumbo lump crabcake. Stay away from the fancy Fiola and eat some real meat.

    Great way to celebrate the 4th:

    Father accidentally shoots, kills 14-year-old son at Sarasota gun range

    SARASOTA, Fla. – A 14-year-old was killed Sunday after being shot at a gun range by his father, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office said.

    The shooting, which occurred after 3 p.m. at High Noon Gun Shop on Bee Ridge Road, was reported as an accident, deputies said.

    The teen, Stephen J. Brumby, was pronounced dead after being taken to Sarasota Memorial Hospital, deputies said.

    Video footage shows his father, William C. Brumby, firing a gun while reaching at the back of his shirt to remove a shell casing. He used the same hand he was holding the gun with and then unintentionally fired off a round that struck his son, who was behind him in a shooting lane, deputies said.

    Stephen’s other siblings, a 24-year-old brother, and a 12-year-old sister, witnessed the shooting, according to deputies.

    William Brumby is not facing any charges at this time, deputies said.
